Warhammer 40k

A community dedicated to the universe of Warhammer 40k, a tabletop setting in the far, distant future.

This is a general community for 40k miniatures, art, lore discussion, and gameplay discussion.

Rules

  1. Keep it civil.
  2. No memeposts/shitposts. Memes are great but direct them to grimdank.
  3. Please mark any posts containing realistic nudity or realistic excessive gore/violence as NSFW; this rule mainly applies to cosplay and realistic drawings rather than miniatures. Being that 40k is inherently violent, this is a judgement call, and mods may occasionally request posters add tags.
  4. No contemporary politics, no political debates. This is a space to enjoy the hobby and get away from the doomscrolling.

I've been trying to paint more of my 3D print designs and finally got to put some on the table. We were playing Space Weirdos rather than 40k, but I figured you folks might like to see all the old school 40k terrain on the board.

Looks fantastic! So refreshing! How long did it take to paint it all?

Thanks, not too long. I used sponges to paint most of it fairly quickly, it's a technique that works great for painting 3D printed scenery.
