I'll never understand what about protesting a car dealership no one wants to buy a car from is considered a good use of time...
I'm sure it makes people feel like they're accomplishing something, but you can get that same dopamine hit and actually accomplish something.
Like, why not protest your politicians and demand they hold Tesla accountable for abusing EV tax rebates through fraudulent sales reporting?

Future rebates are stalled, but I haven't seen any mention about fines and collections of the prior fraudulent payments.
That would actually hurt Musk, protesting a car dealership no one was buying a car from doesn't do anything.
Politicians will be more interested in ensuring Tesla gets investigated, if people are out and visible protesting it. I was at one, there were hundreds or more people at the place, and a total of two MAGA supporters carrying stupidly large USA and MAGA flags. There were lots of honks of support, including from Tesla drivers (Vancouver is a place where a lot of people bought Teslas years ago to support the environment).
BC's government excluded Tesla chargers from being able to receive any new provincial government rebates for their charger installations.
The Premier, David Eby was questioned on why he stopped that when the government was supposed to be acting to protect the environment, and he responded that British Columbians would be sick seeing our money going to Elon Musk's company. Visible protests make that reasoning justifiable. So there is a point.
Exactly my point...
If zero Canadians are buying Teslas...
I think time/energy would be better spent directly protesting the people who can hold him accountable, rather than hoping they notice.
Cuz like, there's a lot of shit politicians should be noticing, and they don't all seem to be noticing it all on their own. Although to be fair y'all are alot better off than we are right now, so it's not like you really need my advice.
