What do you figure would happen if the people of the US got together at election time and overwhelmingly voted for somebody that wants to dismantle corporate power and uplift the working class? You figure the capitalists would act like Swiper in Dora the Explorer and go "oh, man!" and then back off? Or they'd just say no with the electoral college and/or supreme court and use the police and military if that failed?
Probably shoot them.
We wont find out but nice fantasy scenario
So following from that, it makes no sense to blame the voters if we're working with a system where the idea of a positive outcome for regular people through voting is nothing more than fantasy.
