“The Gorge” on AppleTV.
It was not good.
Can you elaborate please? I'm intrigued by the premise and love the main stars as actors. Was it really that mid?
The story was clichéd and predictable. The actors did an okay job with a weak script, full of hackneyed dialogue and gorge-sized plot holes. The action scenes were filmed in nearly pitch-black conditions, even with my screen brightness cranked to the max I could still barely make out what was going on, not that it was all that fun to watch anyway. The romance plot was okay, but still seemed rushed and contrived.
I mean, if you enjoy trite and basic horror flicks, I guess give it a go. I’d skip it though; you won’t miss much.
Dissenting opinion.
I enjoyed the Gorge. The story needed some more work, but other than that it was a lot better than I expected.
I thought it'd be a cheesy B movie, but it's more solid than that.
