Canadian video games, gamers, and gaming news!

Give'r Gaming serves as a community for all of the above, highlighting Canadian game devs, development studios, and, of course, games!

Know of any great Canadian games for people to try out? Please feel free to share them here to help support developers and the incredible works they put out!

Community Rules:

  1. Lemmy.ca instance rules and guidelines are to be followed at all times.
  2. All games, game developers, and gaming personalities shared must be Canadian. This community's purpose is to help bolster and bring visibility to the Canadian gaming sphere.
  3. NSFW games are allowed. However, posts sharing these games MUST be tagged as NSFW with posts being removed if this is not done.
  4. Games promoting Web3 technologies such as NFTs, cryptocurrencies, and other such things will be removed and greeted with a permanent ban from the community.
  5. Games promoting online gambling (think online casinos) will also be removed and greeted with bans.

These rules will likely be worked on as the community here grows.

Omega Strikers is a cross-platform game one can play for free with friends, or others around the world! A top-down sports game, two teams of three try to send a puck into the other team's net with cool cutscenes, special abilities, and fast-paced action adding to the game's excitement!

not for linux, not for android, not for steam deck (apparently there was an Android version, but it's no longer available)

pls correct me, if i got something wrong, because it's very difficult to get infos about it.

Huh, no Android version? I got the information about the game being cross-platform from the game's page on the developer's website. It was implied it was available on mobile since they had a picture of someone playing it on mobile.
