This. Been doing this for decades and it's great. Still fuck certain words up for some reason tho. Separate, people, etc.
โieโ vs โeiโ are my kryptonite. e.g. receive, sieve.
Yup, I get seize backwards a lot cause it violates the i before e except after c rule.
Maybe if you think real hard about a person going into a seizure and flinging themselves backwards, it'll pop back in your head the next time you go to type "seize" and help you remember.
I mean I know how it's spelled, I recognize it when I get it backwards, it's just muscle-memory fucks me about half the time.
I after E except after C and when sounded like A as in neighbor and weigh (and a thousand other exceptions)
Or whenever I please, as in feisty and seize!
