Was Biden simultaneously vice president for his own presidency?
no but the box article is from 2020
He was a former vice president at the time, still is, though being a president is more notable.
I think we should refer to him as "Former Community Pool Security Guard Joe Biden" from now on. (Yup, early 60's).

The date on the article appears to be 9/29/2020, so Biden was not elected president yet. But even if the article came Out on 11/29/2020, Biden still wouldn’t be president; he’d be President-elect. A presidents term does not actually start (or end) until Jan 20 of the following year, after the president is sworn in. To add more dates to the confusion, the Jan 6 date was when congress was meant to certify (make official) the votes from the November election; yup, despite what CNN and all of the other news organizations say on Election Day, the votes aren’t actually certified until much later.
