Of course, the lesson from this for the Brits will be to try to increase armaments, rather than, I don't know, learning to coexist with their nuclear neighbors?

YUP, and I fucking hate it here. Too many people around me are proud of being anti-intellectual and then think I should still respect their opinion on anything social or political. Fucking kill me.
