This was so obviously gonna happen with Trump back in office. But at least we saved the Palestinians by not voting for Kamala, right?

Maybe Kamala shouldn't have tried to take over the conservatives, and instead focussed on politics that matter. But I guess that worked out really good for her and the country!

Boy am I glad that some voters left their brains at home because their little feelings got hurt by Kamala. Makes me feel real good about that outcome knowing that they showed Kamala who's boss! /s 🤮

I think politics need to be interesting for people to vote. If the expected outcome is that everything only worsens a bit, you'll never get people to vote for you. So by leaning right, she basically tried to appease the conservatives, but made progressives lose interest. I don't think that anyone (or a substancial number) on the left tried to "own" her.

Hopefully there will be next elections, and hopefully there will be a party worthy of voting for it.

(Also disclaimer, I am not american, and am just objectively stating the obvious)

Whatever you do don't blame the people who threw the campaign and rolled out the red carpet for where you are now. Maybe they'll get back into power and make sure the people involved face no justice at all, so they can do it again

Democrats lost 6 millions voters in 2024 compared to 2020.

Republicans gained 3 million voters in 2024 compared to 2020.

Third parties stayed the same between 2024 and 2020 at 3 million total voters.

9 million people chose to abstain from voting in 2024 compared to 2020.

Even if you add up the some ~1 million uncommitted voters that voted Green or PSL in 2024, this pails in comparison to the amount of people that either switched parties or didn't vote at all.

Democrats did this to themselves. Kamala ran towards the Republicans instead of rallying to the Democrats' traditional strengths as well as making a coalition with progressives and leftists.

The more you blame Palestinian voters instead of Democratic party leadership, the more you wish for the destruction of all minority rights in this country.

Can you stop with this? How is this helping? We need a broad coalition to fight this walking tumor.

The same broad coalition you didn't join by not voting for kamala? How many millions of people signed up for your mutual aid fund?

You don't represent the masses, you just think you do.

I voted for her. That doesn't mean the grievances against her aren't legitimate. How is this helping?

No, the grievances against her are not legitimate. You fell for a psyop. Missed the forest for the trees.

I'll be voting for the most progressive viable candidate. If that's kamala or AOC or Gavin newsom, yeah we might lose, but that's not going to stop me from vocally supporting them over some joker like Jill Stein who has literally zero chance and knows it.

Radical left wing politicians are not electable outside of small college towns. Democrats, and Americans more generally are not radically left wing. Calling for the death of America, or Israel, or any country really, is not a position that will win you a general election in this country.
