MODERATORS

This is a big ask and maybe something bigger than just the Voyager app itself. However, I would like to see Lemmy have the same type of user level moderation tools as BlueSky. BlueSky allows users to subscribe to mute/block lists for misinformation and other types of unfavorable content that people can subscribe to. I feel that having these types of lists on Lemmy would be a great tool for preventing Lemmy from being overrun by bots and misinformation in the future. BlueSky has the misinformation blocking list enabled by default for all users as well, with the ability to adjust the settings for specific categories.

Iโ€™m sorry if this is the wrong place to request such a big feature, but I feel that such a feature would be a core part of helping to safeguard the Fediverse for the future.

You can adjust the filter or even disable it.

Iโ€™m not personally someone that knows what criteria their filter uses, but I do see what a difference it makes when I compare how my feed looks on BlueSky compared to when I used Twitter.

I believe accounts are flagged for spreading misinformation by users, those accounts then get reviewed. You can opt to show all accounts and content that post misinformation and can optionally choose to have the tag attached to their profile which indicates this profile is one flagged for spreading misinformation.
