That's a horrible way to grow up, and you've done great getting out of it. Cults are horribly destructive and people forget that they control your life and how you think. It's all coercive control, it's insidious and powerful; the leader is just abusing on a big scale. I'm glad you survived ...also as an lgbt person massive thanks for working for the community ๐ŸŒˆ
