When I was a kid and learned about the nazis, I always wondered why the good ppl didn't just kill all the nazis. I now know, it's a mix of the system good ppl created themselves to punish crime and their desire to avoid violence.
The irony in the social contract is that while most people perceive it as protecting us, there isn’t much in place protecting us from it.
