By censoring Luigi, they are bringing more awareness to the fact they are afraid of Luigi. The Verge already published an article about the changes, thus bringing more attention to it. Lol.
for those of us that were there for 18 years, it is like losing a friend.
If it’s any consolation, it’s Nintendo’s Legal team that are really rolling with it. There’s hope they’ll recognise they’re hurting their brand and Legal’s leadership will be kicked to the curb.
Don’t blame their developers - they likely have nothing to do with it, even Game Freak.

Nah, Reddit was great back when I first joined. The lead-up to the 2016 election was the beginning of the end.
