But on that, Sanders has been a VERY outspoken critic of the Isreali government's genocide in Gaza and the absurd financial support the US provides for it.

He might criticize the financial support because he thinks "Israel" has "gone too far" but he still supports "Israel's right to defend itself". Which is the fundamental issue that created this genocidal dynamic in the first place.

If you want a slimy and corrupt US politician to rage about, there's no shortage to pick from, so it's honestly weird that you're throwing a fit over the one who is actually trying to help people.

That is very debatable, but it will suffice to say that he sucks just like the rest of them & it's fine & good to criticize him. I will never understand people who go out of their way to defend politicians lol. Grow up

Even back in 2019 Sanders had at best a mixed record on the issue of Palestine. He has never even supported BDS.

It only got worse from there. As the Gaza genocide was ongoing last year, Sanders was still insisting on sticking by Genocide Joe no matter what. He was claiming to be against arms deliveries to Israel (until they re-establish humanitarian aid, after which presumably Sanders thinks it's ok for them to continue mass murdering Palestinians) yet he still supported giving them so-called "defensive weapons".

There is no such thing as "defensive weapons" in the hands of a genocidal occupation!

He explicitly said "there is no red line" when it comes to defending Israel, which means Israel could do whatever it wants and Sanders would still support them.

And as for his latest spectacle pretending like he's trying to stop weapons deliveries to Israel, it's quite convenient to do it now when he knows it has no chance of passing and no political impact whatsoever on a Democrat's impending election. In fact it perfectly aligns with the Democrats' political grandstanding against Trump.

And have we ever heard him say anything about shutting off the US money or intelligence tap to Israel? He talks about weapons, but what about the billions of dollars the Israelis regularly get? What about all the spy drones the US flies over Gaza 24/7 to help the Zionists precision murder doctors, aid workers, journalists and so on?

He has never once called either the Palestinian or the Lebanese resistance anything other than terrorists.

He is the definition of a liberal Zionist. He is the left wing of genocide and imperialism, pure and simple. And this goes double for "AOC", who changed her progressive tune in record speed once she got a taste of establishment power.
