Honestly, it probably shouldn't matter anyway. Yeah, it probably draws attention during a background check for a security clearance, but the real problem is that these guys aren't qualified and don't have clearances anyway.

    the entire DOGE office was created to infiltrate and wreck the inner workings of american democratic institutions, who gives a fuck if someone father was stalin, this would be news if they were the only one trying to do some dirt, but they're all fucking there to bust up the joint, ever single last fucking nazi twink

    If you read the story, the KGB spy tried to defect in the 80s and got executed because of that. The kid's never known him and probably didn't even know this.

    Focus on terrible stuff he's actually doing and don't let stories like this distract you.
