what’s the difference of behaviors between a person with npd and just an asshole? (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

how could you tell, since npd is an actual condition, so of course they’ll act differently, but it’s used so often to describe a regular, typical asshole.

A formal diagnosis. I know narcissistic is thrown around quite a bit but I prefer to use the term self-centered when not talking about NPD as I have a relative with NPD as one of many comorbid disorders.
