I believe as this community is essentially a parliamentary session, any vulgar or obscene commentary should be strongly discouraged. Much like the speaker of the house, moderators should consistently remind those who break the above guideline to refrain. Repeat offenders / extreme examples should be subject to a temporary ban. Thoughts?
edit: I wonder what people think is the purpose of downvotes? Do you not want to have the discussion?

Be Respectful is a rule on the instance and so it is a rule here.

I think an easy way to avoid crossing the line is to avoid Ad hominem attacks. Attack a person's idea, don't attack the person speaking.

If a person is carrying a swastika and advocating for National Socialism then you can call them a Nazi. If you disagree with their opinions on subjects that should be taught in school then calling them a Nazi is probably not the best way to support your side of the argument.
