Mondays is the busiest day of the week, so whenever my off-day falls on Monday I feel some type of way. I don't know if anyone has this experience.

The thing is, if I take a day off, the work doesn't stop. So Tuesday will just be catching up on all the stuff missed on Monday. The only exception is national holidays where literally nobody is working. Honestly I feel it discouraging me from ever taking vacation.

You're me, I get so choked up with work sometimes especially when I'm working a graveyard shift like this past week. I haven't taken a vacation in a while, but I'm planning on taking a vacation this summer, at to hike travel back to Europe.
