The purpose of this community is sort of a "work out your frustrations by letting it all out" where different leftist tendencies can vent their frustrations with one another and more assertively and directly challenge one another. Hostility is allowed, but any racist, fascist, or reactionary crap wont be tolerated, nor will explicit threats.

She's technically not a socialist, unfortunately, as far as I remember.
But I just meant if Trump is planning a coup, she will need to have consolidated power over the military and have their support if she is to remain in power. She already has an extremely powerful popular mandate currently but she will need the military to support her, otherwise she will face a similar fate as Allende.
She could be a communist and it wouldn't matter that much, the rest of the political apparatus is either neoliberal (opposition parties and old institutions) and a mix of socialists and Cardenista socialists (mayority party and coalition).
Very true. Has she ever expressed being a communist or socialist though?
