Depends on what your interests are but I’d avoid creating an account or a community on .world (too dominating, and lately are corpo bootlickers, also power tripping mods), .ml (power tripping admin), hexbear (highest troll ratio, active attacks on other instances). There’s good folk on all those but there are big issues w each imo.

I’ve got several accts on different instances. Each have their quirks. Like some don’t allow downvotes or different words, and others are federated or defederated with other instances I wanna see or avoid on occasion
