If you’re encouraging responsible ownership the very first step is secure storage.
A gun safe and a separate ammo safe.
That is the absolute first step to ensuring there are no accidental discharges. Most people are shot with their own gun, in their own home, by themselves or a family member.
Yep! I'm planning on purchasing a firearm in the next year. But I'm moving first so rather than move safes and firearms across state lines I'm waiting. Because there's little in life that's dumber than leaving around an expensive weapon that's serial number is tied to your name
