It's hard to see in the trailer with the camera moving all around like that, but the design is siiiiiiiiick. It looks like an orbital frame more than anything (although I guess that goes without saying when you mix Eva and Gundam design language) but I love the lines on this thing and the stupid (affectionate) backpack thrusters.
Altho having said that I just realized that the color scheme makes it looks like Gridman and I can't unsee it now
From what I can tell, Ikuto Yamashita is doing the mechanical design for this, so that makes sense. Glad to see I'm not the only one seeing a bit of ZoE (the skinny robots and O'Neill cylinders are to blame).
I'm curious to see what (if any) kinds of grunt suits we get for this show. I'm a sucker for an olive and/or khaki robot.

Hearing rumours that this show is set in an alt UC timeline where Zeon won the OYW, if that’s really the case I will get down and kneel to Anno
