The founding of Rome
(lemmy.world)
Welcome to /c/[email protected] , where fake history is made. Find a historically significant photo, come up with a fake history title, post it, laugh.
The name is a reference to the fact that the pictures should be worth marveling at. This is NOT a place for hardcore pornography. Tasteful nudity is fine as long as it fits within the context of the post (please mark it as NSFW).
Because Romulus killed Remus in a dispute over where to locate the city
Yes, I'm aware of that, but it's hardly the only case of mythological fratricide. What I'd like to know is why is it referencing specifically the founding of Rome instead of any of the other examples. Chiefly, why not just reference the story the art piece originally referenced (which to my knowledge is Cain and Abel.)
Try chillin out buddy

I'm genuinely just curious. I default to ultra-formal and specific.
