And fixed the many little issues in the editor, some utterly amateur like searching for a light in the light explorer that has been broken for over a decade. One letter at a time as the search cursor looses focus. Are they for real? There are so many little issues like this, that you have to wonder what on earth is going on over at Unity. Hopefully AI will help them to actually cleanup the engine and address all the little broken or poorly implemented things.
But hey, at least they bought Weta FX or whatever it is called. Such a good addition to their portfolio, right?!
Not really sure as I have not really seen any day to day benefits as of yet. The way just recently released a WETA character AI rigger, but it is aimed at very night end characters and an overkill for my needs. Plus it is $1,900/year.
The best thing to happen to Unity for me is Chat GPT 4 plus with the code interpreter. Very powerful.
