One thing that bothers me about the Dune: Prophecy is that's is based on work by Brian Herbert.

As big fan of the Dune series, I was really excited when I found out there were more books written by by Herbert's son. But after reading one of them, I swore off on anything by Brain Herbert.

It was a competent novel, but the writing style and overall plot progression was bland and uninspired in comparison to the real Dune novels.
