What is being a tank like for gamers?

They take the pain but are in control of the situation (if done correctly).

Tanks, being de facto leaders, are tops. Inexperienced tanks are often insecure due to it being a high pressure role, which I guess makes them like soft boi tops or something. Experienced ones are either raging assholes or fatherly and wise. The latter is like a silver daddy I guess LOL
