This is a striking moment but it isn’t the damning moment for Muslims & Arabs as many may think it is - it is the sign of the demise of the Democratic Party, even in its ability to maintain optics.

And optics are at the core of politics.

Kamala Harris, Joe Biden & the Democratic Party have refused to even share a stage with Arabs, Muslims, Palestinians - not even for the sake of optics or for the sake of their electoral interests.

Instead, Harris & her party have chosen to castigate & marginalize Arabs & Muslims - who overwhelmingly vote Democrat - at every single turn.

Trump did the easiest thing the Democrats & Harris couldn’t: he welcomed some Arabs & Muslims to share the stage with him. He embraced them. The Democrats, Biden & Harris have categorically refused to.

Muslims and Arabs have endorsed Jill Stein / third party candidates (@Abandonbiden24, over 150 imams/clerics in a letter); Muslims/Arabs have endorsed / supported Harris (Zogby, Emgage, Mehdi Hasan, Uncommitted-ish). Black Muslims have been on both sides of this.

The narrative has been & will continue to be that Arabs & Muslims are supporting Trump - this isn’t true. Our communities are pushing against the genocide of our people.

Some in our communities are choosing to side with the current genocidaires, some are choosing to side with the future genocidaires. These men with Trump are a handful of Muslim/Arab leaders out of millions of Muslims in this country. Our communities aren’t monolithic.

This is such an amazingly dumb take. There's no way that ANY of this is in good faith.

Trump did the easiest thing the Democrats & Harris couldn’t: he welcomed some Arabs & Muslims to share the stage with him. He embraced them

The guy that tried to ban Muslims from entering the country starting in 2017, and now you think he's "embracing" them? You think that they guy that tells Israel they need to 'get the job done' is on the side of Muslims? That's either deeply delusional, or intentionally lying with the goal of accelerating the timeline for the "revolution" (which is actually going to be an extermination of anyone that's marginalized already, and the entire left, since y'all haven't been willing to get strapped and trained).

It's not about anyone thinking what Trump will get done. This is purely about optics.

The completely uninformed voter sees Trump on stage with Muslims and Harris shaking hands with Netanyahu.

By refusing to even platform any Muslims and Arabs the Harris campaign is most certainly not doing itself favors.

If that was True, then it would cost Trump far more states than it would win him, because there are more Jewish people in the US than Muslim people, and generally speaking Jewish people are more likely to stand with Israel than they are with the people of Palestine and Gaza. Unless you're trying to say that Muslim people are less likely to be informed than Jewish people, or people that oppose the genocide in Gaza and the West Bank?

The vast majority of Muslims are not voting for Trump but you can be certain this will fool a few. At this point they will take whatever lip-service they can get.

I don't understand what the rest of your comment means but the implication is all Jews are Islamophobic?

Jewish voters care little about Israel receiving unlimited weapons nor about Muslims on a stage. They will vote Democrat regardless.

Even moreso because Trump is an Adolf Hitler consumer. Besides the most hardcore Zionists and uninformed voter he has no appeal to Jews.
