New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana are under heat alerts amid record-breaking temperatures. Rain is expected to break the heat after Wednesday.

Why do they not have air conditioning in their vehicles then? It's absurd that they don't, even without life threatening heat waves.

That would cost money and Louis DeJoy is focused on getting that money into private courier services.

Also the new mail trucks that were supposed to be electric were also supposed to come with A/C
