I like to use "Offline vector maps" with the map style "CycloRoute" (download here).
Cycle routes and bike lanes are highlighted in BOLD BLUE, and it's so easy to see. There's also a touring style, which can also be helpful.
This is a great add on, thanks for that. This alongside the BRouter routing engine is awesome.
