It's the total number of Switch players, not the female to male ratio.

Total number of Switch players have tripled in last 5 years.

Total number of Female Switch players doubled in last 5 years.

I feel like that’s a non-news then. I bet the same can be said for ps5 and every other console where the overall sales more than doubled in 5-year span. What IS news though is that 47% of switch players are female, I wonder how that compares to other consoles.
