Spoilers for the Superman: The Animated Series episode The Late Mr. Kent:
I've been watching the Superman animated series from the '90s, and in the episode The Late Mr. Kent, the whole plot centers around Superman trying to save some innocent black guy on death row who was framed with murder by some cop.Superman -- with the help of Lois Lane -- successfully proves it was the cop all along. At the end, the pig realizes Clark Kent was in fact Superman ... right before he is fucking executed via gas chamber.
That's the only moment of that show I remember.
