5. Engage respectfully: Harassment, flamebaiting, bad faith engagement, or agenda posting will result in your posts being removed. Excessive violations will result in temporary or permanent ban, depending on severity.
6. Memes are not allowed to be posts, but are allowed in the comments.
7. Posts from clickbait sources are heavily discouraged. Please de-clickbait titles if it needs to be submitted.
8. Submission statements of any length composed of your own thoughts inside the post text field are mandatory for any microblog posts, and are optional but recommended for article/image/video posts.

Can you link to that line in the code? I'm not seeing it, nor am I seeing the Internet permission being declared in AndroidManifest.xml
They can't link because it doesn't exist. This is a green account with quite a negative reputation, their comment is just a bogus line that is brushing people off from this app. They even misspelled the app's name in their misinformation attempt.
What a strange thing to do
Looks like the app author has some enemies
I think the answer is that it's not actually there. The typo in the app name is another giveaway (parallax vs the app name, pallax)
Edit: also,
I'm not saying there is anything there, but I never trust the search on GitHub under any circumstances. It routinely doesn't find things I am positive exist on my own code bases.
Fair enough, I also looked through the code though and it looks like everything is done locally
