What's the deal with that character, anyways? It would appear she is the protagonist of a video game called CrossCode but I don't know what the deal with that game is.
WhyEssEff, the mod who is de facto in charge of adding new emojis, really likes CrossCode. I think that's all there is to it.

I got a few hours into it, then the fetch-quest stuff started. That's when I checked out. There's some interesting game mechanics but it's way too grindy for me.
Exactly my opinion. It is interesting in some ways, but it apes the mmo style of quest design too closely for my tastes.
WhyEssEff is #1 fan of the game and also manages the emotes so she added a handful, plus it's a good game to all accounts and the emotes are fun/useful.
I don't know but HexBears Emojis lack finger gun emojis
