Google is working on a new version of Chrome for Android that supports browser extensions, but it might not be available for mobile devices.

Kiwi Browser has offered an Android build of Chromium that will install and attempt to run any extension available for desktop Chrome. Most of them work.

Firefox also recently regained reasonable extension support on Android, which was a slow and frustrating process for those of us who had used it before.

Is there something about chromium that makes people stick to it? I'm sure the kiwi browser is good, but why not just use firefox or Mull Browser from the creators of divestOS.

I use Firefox almost all the time, but I've run into a few sites that act up, and the rate seems to be increasing. Sometimes I complain.

When Firefox had a tiny set of permitted extensions, I used Kiwi most of the time.

Firefox's new UI still lacks a tablet-optimized interface, for example.

Surely you can use it, the tab switching just requires more taps compared to competitors.

Edit: that said, I just found this extension which I expected someone to make by now.

Fennec (Firefox) has great extension support. There are a ton available although honestly Ublock origin is the main one from a usefulness perspective

Just curious do you know why the F-droid repo says the app has trackers?
