Colonizers have this really weird entitlement where they think the "inferior kinds" are supposed to recognize their own "inferiority" and let themselves be killed for the glory of the master race. When their victims fight back, the colonizers see it as a violation of the natural order.
It's not normal for them to see missiles targeting military bases instead of schools and hospitals.
It's not normal because normally all the rockets are going the other way and they get to bomb all of their neighboring countries without worrying about retaliation.
Bombs are supposed to blow up in filthy brown poor countries. Not here!?!
