I'm always looking for the smallest linewidth and the hit-tec-c .25 has been my favourite so far. The Jetstream is new to me as is the Kleid notebook - looking foward to trying them out!

How about you? Any favourite super fine lined writing instruments you like to use?

I've tried the Stabilo Rollerball (previously under the "Bionic" sub-brand) pens - both the worker and bl@ck+. They're fine at 0.3mm and have some really nice grips. Uni JetStream Standard is also fine at 0.38mm - comes with a disposable refill. Similarly, there's the Uniball Eye Ultra Micro at 0.38mm - it is a disposable pen, but you can technically DIY-refill them. Schneider One Hybrid N is also fine at 0.3mm, nice grip and also refillable. Unfortunately, I've yet to come across any ultra-fine writing instruments below 0.3mm.

I remember having a stabilo worker as a kid, one with the orange rubberised barrel. I thought it looked so cool - like an orange sci-fi submarine!

Haven't seen one in ages but then again the pen selection at the stores in my area have really atrophied.

The Uniballs are some of the best feeling pens to write with imo! Have you tried refilling them? What kind of ink did you use?

The Schneider is another new one for me!

I could not find the "gel-ink", or whatever dye-ink they use inside, so I use a cheap ink from Luxor or Parker. However, those are not the proper ink, and may cause the inner felt to coagulate. At best, you can refill it twice or thrice. However, if you have one of those Pilot VSign (I did not use this pen, but it should be similar to V5/V7 that I've used), you will not face this issue - because those are probably the same ink.
