The electoral college and it's consequences have been a disaster for the human race
"But we need the electoral college so that the states with the most population don't get to enforce their will on the rest!!!!!"
Weirdly enough, you never see these people advocate for giving preferential weight to the votes of black people, trans people, or any other minority population that's actually oppressed
Democrats will talk about the importance of swing states and designing a campaign around them, but they'll never say "actually, this system where only the votes of a few hundred thousand people matter in a country with 150 million voters sucks".
