I love how Japanese companies seem completely oblivious to the existence of international shipping and for something that's like 0.5kg at most it wouldn't even be that expensive.

it boggles the mind because there's no way they don't know at this point that there's quite a lively global community for this stuff. probably not that much in the grand scheme of things, but surely not an insignificant portion of the (already v limited) preorder slots are filled by people from elsewhere using proxies / resellers.

I used to buy gunpla from a very well stocked Japanese website but Bandai said nope, international users must buy from their local approved resellers and now I only have access to resellers with pathetic catalog and stocks
