Monetarily supporting things you like is very literally capitalist
Capitalism is about reaping reward from financial dealings, not just tossing money at things because you like them, and seeking nothing in return.
OPs take is dumb, but yours isn't much better.
I'll let you do some research before I even jump back into this ๐ this isn't even remotely correct. It's a side effect, and a common mindset in capitalistic systems, but absolutely not the core of it.
"Just trust me bro"
It's literally in the name. Capitalism is about acquiring capital. It's about using that capital for your own gain.
It's not just any system where money happens to exist.
Telling you that you need to do more research is like the exact opposite of "trust me bro." I didn't give you anything because I know you wouldn't trust it, you need to actually figure it out on your own.
Not everyone is capable and that's OK, you don't have to feel bad about it ๐คทโโ๏ธ
