It may not be what you are after but I find best source for news is You Tube fan channels like United Stand or FUTV.
They may just regurgitate the news from those sports journalists tweets but it saves me having to use Twtter myself and they summarise everything quite well usually. Although some go overboard and are often clickbaity themselves it's easy enough to spot the actual breaking news Vs the click bait titles.

Ornstein is basically a chest full of gold in terms of Manchester United news.
I don't want to watch anyone either. Lol Basically, Twitter without having to go to Twitter.
