Ten years from now I'll be saying "Yeah, me and @tom go way back to the very early days of feddit.uk. @tom is the OG @tom. He started it all when reddit started to fall. Do you remember reddit back when it was popular? reddit was like feddit and stuff but it wasn't federated at all, just one single giant blob of a corporate website. They decided to put all the third party apps out of business but it put them out of business in the end. The users and mods were like 'don't do this you're gonna kill reddit', but sharks gonna shark. Couldn't help themselves. 'Extract maximum profit at all costs'. Killed the cash cow trying to make it crap diamonds."
