Lol idk why this feels so ridiculous but also plausible.
Honestly, I thought this was NotTheOnion at first.
I could see some anti-cyclist doing this to protest the “ridiculousness” of 15 minute cities.

This screams Portland (where I live).
the public transport org here runs a yearly report about transportation habits and how people think about transportation, and my town had like 40% of those asked say that they want more e-scooter infrastructure lmao
granted, i assume they just interpreted it as "bicycle infrastructure that takes into account e-scooters as well" and maybe some e-scooter specific parking, but still.
