Tbf, when was the last time you've seen a decent military-related ad? Not just enlisting, but even stuff like working for weapons factories and such. And not just in USA either, if you've seen recent Russian ads for enlisting

We had recruiters in our grade school lunch room saying ^ that. I regret not organizing to get them banned.

Lovely! Well it seems Russian government decided to ape that, because their ads are all "Time for important decisions!" and just below that - "Get a million upfront".
