They literally do this to muslims all the time. To them, muslims and their religion are the source of their own oppression.
It's not just for voting either, there was a ~~reddit~~ post about different styles of Muslim head coverings and people were calling it backwards and anti western. As if muslims right now aren't experiencing the enlightened progress of a genocide at their hands.
