This is why I like Soul Calibur.
It knows that's what you're going to do and makes every random combo of buttons do cool shit 😌
It's the fighting game for people who suck at fighting games. It's my favorite.
So that’s why I liked Soul Calibur so much!
Same. The fact that it was “cheap” in this regard was heavily weaponized by my childhood best friend to mock me.
Memory unlocked: him beating me every round on Street Fighter EX plus Alpha (?) and then pointing out that every win by his was some kind of super special win, not even just a regular one.
He comparatively never wanted to play Soul Calibur
