So I wanna play punch out but the nestopia core crashes on boot. Which RA cores work with punch out?

Weird. Basically all NES cores should be able to play Punch Out. What operating system are you on? Does other NES games run? Maybe the Rom file itself is faulty. If it crashes with Mesen as well, then you can create a log file, which includes lot of useful information to find out what went wrong: https://docs.libretro.com/guides/generating-retroarch-logs/

Its a ROM of mike tysons punch out. Only works in whatever lemuroid uses.

Standard settings in an rp4 pro.

I use RA aarch64 from fdroid

Mesen seems to work, I'll play up to tiger and come back

Edit:

Ran perfectly, played up to bald bull 1

Tho, speaking of nes emulation. I have another device running retroleap. Its a dumb little project. For some reason all the faces are bugged out on it. Probably because it can barely handle GBC. That and I doubt quicknes is good for later nes stuff
