sometimes i like to just, say the wrong opinion, for no reason other than i think it's funny. But also educational to watch how people react to things.
The word you're looking for might be "trolling". Which isn't bad, by all means, as long as you recognize what's happening
i consider it to be tangential to trolling, it's not really trolling in the traditional manner of just inciting anger to incite anger. It's more so saying something that's wrong to say something that's wrong with the purpose of defending it to see how people react to it.
