Man. Guess just like Reddit I'll have to unsub from F1 communities to not get spoiled...
Canโt we just throw a NSFW tag on spoilers?! Iโm with you! I just fired up Lemmy + Grand Prix and now Iโm bummed! ยฏ_(ใ)_/ยฏ
I had a second reddit acct that wasnโt subbed to f1 and had it blocked on all to avoid spoilers when I couldnโt watch it right away. Iโm gonna have to do the same here. Iโd really like a rule about spoilers within 48 hours of the raceโฆ.
I agree! What is the argument for spoiling the outcome? How does it help the community or the f1 instance?
Reddit tried it some years ago and noticed that putting the results behind spoilers stifles discussion. So they reversed the rule.
I am also annoyed by it when I get spoiled but other sources are just as likely to spoil me. Newspaper feeds, YouTube, probably spoiled me more often than Reddit.
Fair points but now is our time to change that. We ainโt Reddit anymore.
NSFW tag means anyone with NSFW disabled is excluded from the community entirely after races.
I have nsfw disabled since I browse this account in public. Iโm not going to enable it just for this sub. Iโve stopped using other subs that do the same thing because I canโt access any content anymore.
The mods here donโt care. Itโs shitty.
