You heard him game companies. Never bother fixing a mistake, because people who live to complain will just continue to complain, and everyone else won’t care.

yes, and I'm so sick of this attitude. this is not a messed up launch that you fix with updates. this was a business decision. a deliberate one. this wasn't a bug, it wasn't a mistake, and it wasn't a misunderstanding. this was a test.
yes. that's the message. don't fix your transgressions after you realize you couldn't get away with it. don't do it in the first place. and don't do it next time. cause there will be a next time.
no brownie points if you steal a wallet and you graciously give it back when you get caught. that's not "fixing your mistake".
