It used to be true that you were less likely to be murdered in a small town.
Although it was never true that you were less likely to die, you are more likely to die in a small town than a city, simply because there are fewer people around to help and fewer resources.
However, since COVID small towns are experiencing more violence than cities, possibly because many of them have turned against common sense gun control
